Away from the winds

All moved in and have began to unpack

hot damn it’s good to see that cathedral again

Thoroughly searched all possible storage spaces. Found 4 games (Including ocarina of time) and 1 controller.

No console. No other controllers. No Majoras Mask.

But more importantly. NO MARIO KART. The last time I saw the N64 my brothers and their friends had dug it out to play Mario Kart. My brothers don’t remember where it now is. It is entirely possible that one of them lent it to their friend years ago and never asked for it back.

On a quest to find my N64 and Zelda games

cleaning a toaster is some tricky bullshit

When I’m moving in/out of my accommodation my family always seems put out by how much stuff I have.

Gee sorry that my entire life doesn’t compress in to a couple duffle bags and a box.

I’m trying hard to live by Cat Principles.

1. I am glorious above all things
2. Eat when hungry, sleep when sleepy, play when bored
3. Affection is given and received on my terms and only mine
4. Show displeasure clearly.
5. NO
6. Demand the things you want. If they aren’t given, demand them again, but louder this time.
7. If you are touched when you don’t want to be, say so. If they continue to touch you, make them bleed.

if you want to understand the psyche of our generation take a good look at the stories we tell ourselves about the future

because it isn’t flying cars or robot dogs, it’s faceless government surveillance and worldwide pandemics and militarized police brutality and the last dregs of humanity struggling to survive

our generation isn’t self-centered, or lazy, or whatever else they wanna say about us. we are young, and we are here, and we are deeply, deeply afraid.

poppunkmutants:

but have you considered:

  • strong females who don’t denounce femininity or being girly
  • strong females who are “like every other girl” bc why the hell not girls are rad
  • strong females who tear down the culture of girls hating on other girls
  • strong females who are proud to be feminists
  • strong females who support and acknowledge trans women
  • strong females who understand that being strong isn’t synonymous with manly or with “acting like a man”
